Chinese Astrology & Feng Shui – Wood Horse Year 2014
Come 4th February 2014, the Chinese will usher in the solar New Year of the Wood Horse. It heralds the arrival of Li Chun or spring in the Chinese solar calendar.
This is when the energy of the earthly stars will circulate in a property within a defined pattern according to Flying Stars Feng Shui which is a system of Chinese Metaphysic.
These stars fly to all the nine sectors of a property and bring luck, good and bad, to the occupants.
If you are facing money problem or challenges in your career path, you can make better headway this year by occupying the south sector which is ruled by star 8. This star brings financial and career success.
If you are having relationship problem and want to bond with a loved one or looking for a life partner, you should occupy the central palace of the property which is ruled by star 4. This star is associated with love, romance and relationship. It can also help you to do well in your literary pursuits, study and other academic endeavors.
If you are looking for promotion or career elevation this year, you will have better chance of getting it if you occupy the west sector as it is ruled by star 6 which confer authority, influence and power.
If you are simply seeking fun and excitement, you may want to occupy the north sector which is ruled by star 9. This star brings creativity, happy events and joyous occasions.
If you are seeking knowledge, recognition and fame, you can find it if you occupy the southwest sector which is ruled by star 1. This star brings nobility, wisdom and recognition.
If you are feeling under the weather or seem to be unwell, you should not make it worse by occupying the east sector. This also applies to pregnant women, the elderly and infants. You are advised to stay away from this sector for the year if possible as the star 2 flies into this sector and bring illness.
As for star 3 and star 7 which flies into the southeast sector and northeast sector respectively, they need to be treated with caution as they can bring arguments, disputes, legal problem, robbery and fraud.
If you do not want to run into misfortune or accidents, you should also stay away or spent less time in the following sectors due to negative star afflictions:-
• The northwest sector of the property which is governed by the Five Yellow • The south sector (172.6º – 187.5º) which is governed by the Grand Duke Jupiter of the year • The north sector (352.6º – 7.5º) which is governed by the Year Breaker • The North, Northeast 1 and Northwest 3 (316º to 45º) which is governed by the Three Killings
One should not undertake any renovation that involves knocking down the wall, digging the ground or any home improvement work in the above sectors to avoid bad luck.
