Double 8 stars in sleeping room

Hi readers.

If I have double 8 stars in a sleeping room (located in South), what can I do to activate both the mountain and water stars since water is not allow in the sleeping room?

Thought of having waterfall painting or
a bowl of water with stones inside.

By drafting the layout of my house, some part of the toilet and kitchen is included in the double 8 sector.
Should I activate the double 8 in the kitchen instead?
There is a water basin near the double 8 in the kitchen.

Please help.
Thank you~

Hi

You do not need to activate the stars with water if you are already sleeping in the room.

As for the Kitchen, the stove should be facing your favorable direction. We have to look at the land form outside the Kitchen and bedroom to consider the potency of these stars.

HiYou are going through wealth luck! Despite negative external forces, when you are going through luck pillars favorable to your natal chart, your chances of making money and advancement in your career are likely to be good. On the contrary, your luck can take a turn for the worse even when the economy is booming if your luck pillar is not favorable to you. The other factors to consider is personal action and Feng Shui.

North of the House - Please Help!

Hello all,

I recently moved to a new house, where the north corner of the house is below the stairs and it is a room where we keep shoes and jackets. Is this is a feng shui problem. I lost my job after I moved to this place. There is a light inside that room. Do I have to turn this light on? Next to that rooms door is the main door and the maindoor is facing north and towards northwest. Northwest is a not well kept graden. Please help/ Also advice how to improve my husbands aswell as my career.

Thanks a lot in advance

Hi

Unless the north of the house is facing a negative external feature which point directly to the main door, there should not be a problem. However, the year of the rat has a certain bearing which conflict with your main door. The Grand Duke is not favorable to the resident of the house who may happen to be you. This is just my preliminary assessment based on what you have mentioned. A full Feng Shui audit of your house is required before we can come to an accurate conclusion. Your date of birth is also required to look for affinity with the house.

Hi

Without the time of birth of the other partner, one of the charts is missing a pillar. For better accuracy, there should be a total of 8 pillars between 2 natal charts when an analysis is sought for compatibility. From what I can see, both of you share similar characteristic traits. However, it does not necessarily mean affinity between one another. There are mirror pillars as well which give another layer of interpretations. A compatibility reading has to consider all elemental interactions between two charts and not just animal of the year.

Hi Alex

Ideally, a block of flat, condo, apartment, office or any high rise complex should have the facing direction based on the whole facade of the building. To determine the actual facing direction, one will need to ascertain the water spot, if any, of the area (Macro) and lobby entrance (Micro) of the building. Once both factors has been considered, then you may look at your main door or window whether it follows the the same facing direction.

Hi Lily

A rat of your element is generally intelligent and alert to new opportunities but also easily distracted.  Your impatience to explore new avenues affect your attention to details. However, this is only a basic reading using your year pillar. For more in-depth analysis of your character, a Ba Zi Consultant will need to look at your birth chart. There is one website which you can visit for a free destiny reading. Here is the link www.bazidestiny.synthasite.com

Best of luck!

Order of elements

Is there a certain order that the element reactions should take place?Let’s say for example:

Yang Earth Yang Fire Yang Wood Yin Wood
Yang Water Yang Earth Yin Earth Yin Fire

How would one read the reactions of elements. Like does generation or destruction take prevalence or is there a certain order that one should consider things when evaluating one’s Four Pillars. Kind of like the order of operations in math.

For example: Metal destroys Wood but in the presence of Water, Metal generates Water which helps Wood. What are the rules like that?

Thanks.

Hi

There is no fixed order of elements. Every chart is unique and should be read differently. Whilst the cycle of elements is one of the techniques used in the reading of a natal chart, other factors such as arbitrating, medicating and regulating come into play in layering the elemental interactions. We also need to consider the natural pairing between elements to look for nobility and quality in a chart. These are just some of the techniques taught in Ba Zi.

In year 2003, we bought a 2nd hand flat and engaged a Feng Shui master before doing the renovation. Our unit is described as: your residence sits in the south, at the wu bearing and faces north at the zi bearing. It should have water flowing inwards. When using the flying star calculator, which is my facing? South or North? My house should be a period 7 house, how do I make it to period 8? Thanks for helping.

Hi PetMC12

You need to measure again with a reliable compass as North2 - South2 bearing for a residence is not auspicious according to Feng Shui which equates it with Death & Emptiness Line. The directional Qi is too strong. Changing to Period 8 is not necessarily auspicious for you as other factors have to be considered. Anyway, for a flat, it is not possible to make a period change for individual units unless the whole building is also subjected to the change.

Hi User801

From a basic analysis of your natal chart, it indicates that you are someone who is demonstrative and light to bask in the limelight. You are a strong DM. You have leadership ability and the passion to succeed but value position more than friendship. You can be very outspoken and argumentative. This will also pose a problem when it comes to relationship especially in a marriage. In terms of wealth, it is very weak in your chart.

Changing the whole roof

Posted in Feng Shui by Administrator on the July 12th, 2008

Hi everyone

Just wanted to know what is the best dates to change the whole roof over the next few months. Actually there is some problem with the colour coating of the roof and the manufacturer agreed to change it. My house is facing NW1. It would be great if it will lead to the change of the house chi to that of period 8.

Any advice and information are greatly appreciated.

Hi Yong

The selection of a good date for home improvement or for that matter, any important activity based on the Chinese almanac or Dong Shu would require information of the residents’ date of birth besides the orientation of the house. With the residents date of birth, it makes the date selection more personalized. Otherwise, you can refer to the Dong Shu for a generic date which offers less than optimal result.

Changing of the roof alone is not enough to change the period of the house. You will need to change the main entrance and the floor tiles in order to comply with the trinity of heaven, earth and man. However, changing to period 8 does not assured you of getting an auspicious house chart. It all depends on the house facing, land forms and residents’ Ba Zi.Teng
