Hi Paracetamol

Wealth wise, you need to tap into your charisma, courage and discipline for creating better opportunities for yourself . You will travel far and wide in the pursuit of your career. As for love, sad to say, you will face problem with spouse and relationship may have legal issues. However, you will eventually triumph as power is on your side.

Hi Paracetamol

Spouse is just a term I used to refer to your palace that is involved in a problematic relationship with your spouse element and doesn’t mean you are married. The problem will unfold when the time comes.

Need help placing bed

Due to my room being small and full of things, the only ways my bed can really be positioned are either with my head pointing to my Liu Sha direction in the South West (I’m Kua 9), or pointing to my Tien Yi direction but with my head directly below the radiator and window, and the foot of the bed partly against a wall (my bedroom is a ‘fat L shape’). It also looks akward in that position.

Should I postion my bed towards my Tien Yi despite the radiator, window and less attractive arrangement, or use my Liu Sha direction? Is there any cures that would help if I choose the latter, for example, the mountain picture?

Hi Rip

If you really have no other alternative, then I suggest that your bed headboard be placed in the direction of Tien Yi. Just make sure that the curtain is drawn over the window. As for the radiator, if it is not directly over your head, it should be  fine. If you choose the SW, I am afraid the picture of the mountain is not going to help except give you psychological comfort. Have you thought of removing clutter in your bedroom to make way for better bed positioning? Too much clutter will also stagnate the qi.

A better alternative is to use house Kua method and identify which quadrant of the house your bedroom is located. House Kua is more effective as it is locational qi which is more potent than directional qi.

Thank you very much for your reply. Unfortunately, the radiator is directly behind my head - as in, if I moved my head further up the pillow, it would touch the radiator. The head of my bed would be backed up against it due to the L-shape of my room.
I don’t really have clutter unless I forget to tidy up, but I really can’t remove any of my furniture. All of it is used daily. It would be nice to be able to have my television and my computer out of my room, but my Mum and I have very different viewing preferances, and she doesn’t like computers.

The Kua of the whole house is 6, which seems opposide to my Kua 9. If I did use these directions, I’d have to move my bed to reposition my desk since it’s big, and the only way that could work seems to be an arrangement that would result in having my back to the door and sleeping with my head under my bookshelf, which feels like it would be almost as bad. And I’d have my bed in my personal Ho Hai and my desk in my personal Liu Sha.

Here’s a rough map of how I currently have my room, to give you a better idea. It’s very rough, and not to scale.

Hi

If it is too troublesome to shift your bed to accomodate the other auspicious directions according to your life qua, then I suggest you need to determine whether your room is located in an auspicious house qua location. You can access the following webpage www.proactive-qi.com/PropertyKua.html. It will show the various House Kua configuration based on east or west group. If your room is indeed located in one of the auspicous locations, then you will enjoy good luck in accordance with the type of house kua prevailing. It will then help to negate the inauspicous direction you face (if SW is better to position your bed).

All the best.

Oh, thank you very much, this may be my answer.
The front door of the whole house is in the North corner facing the North West, so my room seems to be in the South corner. South is the health luck direction for a North West facing house, according to the website, so I might be ok after all. My family’s bedrooms are in good corners too. Smiley

I will also try the mountain picture. It may just be superstition, but some people believe it can help bring better sleep, and it will look nice too.  Wink

Thanks again for your help.
